Artem RudenkoRudenko Receives Vacuum Ultraviolet & X-Ray Physics Conference Award for Atomic, Molecular & Optical Physics

Artem Rudenko, assistant professor in physics, was awarded the VUVX conference award at the 38th International Conference on Vacuum Ultraviolet and X-ray Physics in Hefei, Anhui, China in July.

He received this award "for his exceptional contributions to laser and X-ray science in atomic and molecular physics. Using ultra-short and phase stabilized laser pulses and Free-Electron Lasers, he has been the driving force for benchmark experiments from the VUV to the X-ray regime."
